By this post, i would like to present you the first eyeOS Presentation Application. eyeShow based on Slimey

In this basic application, you can make slides, with texts, colorize your text, change the size, the font, the style. You can add cliparts form an external repository or form eyeOS, add lists, bring front, bring back ...The CLipart Repository is based on a xml feed, the Clipart application can must customized to offer clipart to eyeDocs and more. It's completely integrated on eyeOS, you can save, Save AS and Open.

Now i need your help for :
  • Add cliparts to the repository
  • Add function to reorder the slides
  • Add function to draw lines and circles and colorize them
  • Add function to animate the texts
  • Add function to make it BETTER
  • Write a help and a wiki page

So if your are ready to help me on the developpement, please do not hesitate to contact me !

Best Regards

Edouard

Very great application, but...

things like this:

$file = "http://www.doud.biz/clipart/index.php?dir=".$dir ;

have confidentiality problems, and, in addition, someone have to be able to use this application while offline, in a LAN or whatever.

I suggest you to don't do thinkgs like contact a third party server to get parts of an application.

Is not possible to have everything in the .eyepackage? and forget about contacting other people servers?

Hello Jose !

By reading the script you have seen that this link is not in the eyeShow Package. It's in the eyeClipart package. My idea were to make a clipart repository to insert cliparts in the presentations and next in docs.

eyeShow doesn't needs external link (I will add eyecliparts as an option)

eyeClipart as an external link, it's on my server, but we could make an official clipart repository on eyeos.org

No we can't add 600Mo of cliparts in the eyepackage !

Do not hesitate if you have more ideas about the cliparts.

Best Regards

Edouard

You are right, sorry!

I like the idea of cliparts repository, very great idea.

Maybe we can create an official clipart repostiroy, and provide in downloads, a snapshot with all the cliparts, for those that want to have the clipart in a LAN etc.

Very great application, sincerly, if you want, we can prepare it to be included by default.

We plan to integrate eyeShow into eyeOS. Then it will be translated into French for sure.

I am sorry, I cannot help you with that, because I'm not French.
